School District to Recognize Classified Employees in May

School district officials say classified employees play a critical role in supporting students in Pleasanton.

At their May 13th Board meeting, Pleasanton Unified School District Trustees unanimously adopted a resolution to recognize Classified Employees Week, May 19-23.

Classified employees provide critical services to the school and students of the District.  They support and enhance the educational process by assisting students and teachers, transporting students, preparing nutritious meals, maintaining buildings and grounds, and performing technical, business, clerical, and secretarial functions.

“Classified employees have a huge impact in supporting our students, schools and parents,” said Superintendent Ahmadi. “They are an integral part of our PUSD team.”
