The top three couples received flowers for the ladies, Gold-Silver-Bronze medals, Certificates of Participation, gift cards and Front-of-the-Line passes good for one week entrance into the cafeteria.  The remaining top five couples,  received Front-of-the-Line passes, Certificates of Participation and gift cards. The reamaining top 22 couples each received a Certificate of Participation, and a Front-of-the-line Pass.   All other couples received Front-of–the-Line passes and a candy treat for participating.

We had a demonstration from Pat Hallahan, former PE teacher at Hart and his partner Camille Bennett. Sixth graders performed a Square Dance exhibition and 8th graders did a Line dance exhibition.

At one point they opened the floor to anyone who wanted to dance the line dance the 8th graders did called the Bike Shuffle and the floor was full of students and staff alike including Principal Terry Conde and Vice Principal Jessica Brooks.  A good time was had by all.

Parents and staff alike were very impressed at the skill these dancers showed.  They practiced during their PE classes and at lunch for 2 weeks prior to the competition starting October 14th.

Mr. Dan Fenton and Mr. Tim Santich, two of Hart’s PE teachers, were instrumental in teaching and organizing this competition.
