There will be a grand opening ceremony at the new Pleasanton Super-Sport Club on 4770 Willow Road.
Mayor Jennifer Hosterman will be at the ribbon cutting event at the newest facility and has declared Dec. 17 as "Healthy Pleasanton Day."
Community members are invited to gather and experience fitness demonstrations throughout the afternoon. Members of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department will be collecting toys and donations for the Toys for Tots campaign.
