The 146th Scottish Highland Games, one of the world's largest Celtic festivals, takes place over Labor Day Weekend at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
The event features 24 pipe for the United Sates and Canada, World Championship Heavy Events, Western U.S. Highland Dancing Championships, Irish Pavilion Step Dancing, and U.S. Marine Band (from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego).
The festival also includes five stages of traditional and Celtic Rock bands, groups and individuals: Tempest, Brother (Australia), Albannach (Scotland), Browne Sisters, Molly's Revenge, Isla St Clair, Golden Bough, Peter Daldry & Neil O'Neill.
You'll also find five buildings with more than 100 vendors with wares and services from the British Isles - Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.
