The and the hosted the second annual Safeway Fast & Furious Festival on Sunday, August 5.
The all-day wellness and lifestyle festival started at 8:00 a.m. and ran to 7:30 p.m. The event featured biking and running to benefit the ALS Therapy Development Institute to research Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosi.
Hundreds of people turned out to watch the bicyclists and runners and visit booths featuring local and regional health care vendors.
