High School Football: Foothill Trounces Amador Valley In 'Battle of Pleasanton'

Both schools area heading to the North Coast Section playoffs.

Foothill High beat Pleasanton rival Amador Valley High 41-14 on Friday night in the much anticipated "Battle of Pleasanton."

The Falcons were at home for their victory. The Contra Costa Times reported that students rushed the field after the win.

Foothill was 8-2 during the regular season, Amador Valley was 5-5, according to the North Coast Section.

The Foothill Falcons play at home while the Amador Valley Dons are on the road in the first round of North Coast Section playoffs this week.
