High School Football Recap

Here is a recap of the scores of the local high school football games on Friday night.

Campolindo 42  Dublin 13 

Dublin High was crushed by undefeated Campolindo High, 42-13.

The Cougars built an early lead against the visiting Gaels and never looked back.

Dublin is now 4-2 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Campolindo is 7-0 overall and 3-0 in league play.

Foothill  35  Granada 0

Foothill High snapped a three-game losing streak by pummeling Granada High, 35-0.

The Falcons had lost the past three weeks to powerhouses James Logan, California and De La Salle.

Foothill is now 2-4 overall and 1-2 in league play.

The Matadors fell to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in league play. Granada has now lost three in a row.

Monte Vista 49  Livermore 40

Monte Vista High won a wild one against Livermore High, 49-40.

The Mustangs led 35-14 at half and 42-27 in the third quarter, but the Cowboys kept battling back.

Monte Vista is now 3-3 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Livermore is also 3-3 overall and 0-3 in league play.

De La Salle 42  Amador Valley 7

Amador Valley High became the latest victim in the De La Salle juggernaut.

The Spartans cruised to victory, defeating the Dons, 42-7.

Amador Valley is now 3-3 overall and 1-2 in league play.

De La Salle is 5-1 overall and 3-0 in league play.
