 T-BALL DIVISION 

Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s vs. Sports Style by Mommy and Me Photography

Highlights:  For Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s - Ella Srouji played great at 1st base and had a powerful hit for her first at bat.  Katelyn Guerra was outstanding at fielding and had a great hit during the second inning.  Gia Galletti fielded well and was a great hitter.  For Sports Style by Mommy and Me Photography - Leah Lozano had great bats and base running.  Emily Montler gave great effort in fielding.  Anuva Shekar was awesome defense in the catcher position.  Overall the girls had a lot of fun and it was a good game.

Dublin Holiday Inn vs. Mozes

Highlights:  Kaitlin Hekl led the Dublin Holiday Inn offense with a bases clearing hit into left field.  Isabel Corson had three put outs in the final inning.  Grace Gianfortone had three good hits and great defense from the pitcher’s position.  Mozes was led by Samantha Riter’s big hits and a put out at 2nd.   Jaymie Gardner and Karina Thendean starred with their hitting and base running.

Top Players:  Dublin Holiday Inn - Jillian Barth, Elizabeth Fineberg, Saylor Limkakeng; Mozes - Jaymie Gardner, Samantha Riter, Karina Thendean

Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s vs. Dublin Holiday Inn

Highlights:  Sienna Cisneros helped the Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s with excellent fielding throughout the game.  Ella Patterson had solid hits at each turn at bat.  Olivia Marquez played well, getting an out at 3rd base. Lauren O'Rourke and Laura Nussbaum led the defense for Dublin Holiday Inn with two put outs at 2nd and 3rdbase.  Ava Haubner got three RBIs on a hit into right field.

MICRO DIVISION

Me and My Friends Deli vs. RS Calibration

Highlights:  Kayla had some good hits for Me and My Friends Deli.  Lydsey Hill made a great tag at 2nd.  Ava & Rachel hit well for RS Calibration.  Haley was their defensive standout.

Me and My Friends Deli vs. State Farm Insurance – Leslie Wolf

Highlights:  Gwen had a 3 base out for Me and My Friends Deli.  Amanda was 2 for 2 hitting for State Farm Insurance – Leslie Wolf

RS Calibration vs. TG Information Systems

Highlights:  Amanda Cooper hit a shot past 2nd base for a single.  Emily Gossett made an impressive catch at 3rdand turned a double play.  Holly Palia hit a high drive to center sending a runner home.

Hyatt-Summerfield Suites vs. RS Calibration

Highlights:  Leadoff hitter Ella Gervasoni provided offensive pop and made a nice play at 3rd base for Hyatt-Summerfield Suites, who also received big hits from Erica Haley and Adrianna Martinez.  RS Calibration got excellent fielding from Emma Chandler and McKenna Masinter, along with a big hit from Rachel Berson.

NetApp vs. Me and My Friends Deli

Highlights:  For NetApp, Corey had 2 good hits, Rylee had an out at 1st and got a hit, Alex threw out a runner at 3rdtwice!  For Me and My Friends Deli: Big single from Lyndsey Hill, Olivia Sable had a nice play at 2nd and Rachael Tanis had a great catch at 1st.

Minuteman Press of Pleasanton vs. NetApp

Highlights:  Minuteman Press of Pleasanton - Sofia Blaschka caught a great fly ball at 2nd base; McKenna Harris for pitching a great game, and Rachel Pilkington for outstanding infield defense.  NetApp - Jaeden Nelson for pitching a great game, Isabela Rule for two big hits, Emma Seitz for great infield defense.

Minuteman Press of Pleasanton vs. Alliance Pharmacy Consulting, Inc.

Highlights:  Minuteman Press of Pleasanton - Kara Fitzsimmons for great defense at 1st base.  Ruby Duncan for great hitting.  Marissa Berglin for great hitting.  Alliance Pharmacy Consulting, Inc.-Linz, great hitting.  Brooklyn, great catching.  Kay Kay, great hitting.

Delores Gragg, Realtor-Keller Williams vs. TG Information Systems

Highlights:  A fantastic game between these evenly matched teams.  Katie Derham made an impressive out on 3rdbase for Delores Gragg, Realtor-Keller Williams.  Lauren Han hustled well throughout and Allison Chervet hit a great ball to left field also for Delores Gragg, Realtor-Keller Williams.  Lauren Riley made an impressive catch for TG Information Systems and other notable players on her team were Sierra O'Donnell who hustled and beat a throw to 1st for a single and Makensy Kelin who hit a rocket to center - nearly taking out the coach pitcher for a well deserved single!

San Jose Boiler Works Inc. vs. Jabwire

Highlights:  UNASSISTED TRIPLE PLAY!  Julia of San Jose Boiler Works Inc. caught a fly ball and tagged out two base runners!  Her teammates Kealy scored a run and Ishanti struck out 3 batters.  Jabwire had some great hits by Alanna and Sarah.  And Samantha was thowing FAST balls when she pitched.  Great game girls!

MINI TEAL DIVISION

Savvy Seconds 5, KR Electric 1

Highlights:  Savvy Seconds’ Nishitha Shetty had 2 hard hits to the outfield scoring a total of 3 runs in 2 at bats. Lauren "Lolo" Melvin had a great pitching game striking out multiple batters.  KR Electric’s Taylor See pitched a great game along with some great infield plays to 1st base.  Madalyn "Maddie" Burgess played a mean 1st base, error free.

Top Players:  KR Electric - Madalyn Burgess, Taylor See; Savvy Seconds - Lauren Melvin, Nishitha Shetty

Bryan Enterprises–Building Contractors 7, J Lohr Winery–Jeff Meier 2

Highlights:  Sarah Green and Angelica Alger scored two runs each while Emily Murawski and Jaylah Abello doubled for Bryan Enterprises–Building Contractors.  Kate Inman pitched two scoreless innings, scored a run and singled to drive in Hailyn Park for J Lohr Winery–Jeff Meier.  Emma Garman also hit well for J Lohr Winery–Jeff Meier.

Top Players:  J Lohr Winery–Jeff Meier - Emma Garman, Kate Inman, Hailyn Park; Bryan Enterprises–Building Contractors - Jaylah Abello, Angelica Alger, Emily Murawski

Bryan Enterprises–Building Contractors 2, KR Electric 2

Highlights:  KR Electric put 2 runs on the board and played well in the field.  But, the home team, Bryan Enterprises–Building Contractors, came back to tie it up with 2 runs in the bottom of the last inning.

MINOR TEAL DIVISION

Cupids Tooth 7, Automotive Advantage  6

Highlights:  Cupids Tooth defeated Automotive Advantage by a score of 7-6.  Automotive Advantage jumped out to a 5-0 lead behind pitcher Espi Lotti and the hitting of Morgan Seely and Maria Summersett.  Cupids Tooth was able to battle back and win the game behind the hitting of Emma Patten, Natalie Tarantino and Nagisa Smalheiser, each of whom had a double.  Rachel Taffe was able to shut down the other team's hitting with 4 strikeouts in the last two innings to secure the win.

MINOR BLACK DIVISION

Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors 5, Demcon Stomping Co., Inc. 3

Highlights:  Both teams defended solidly for the first two innings, allowing no runs.  Strong hits in the bottom of the 3rd brought in 3 runs for Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors, and Demcon Stomping Co., Inc. came back with 2 runs in the top of the 5th.  The 6th inning was marked with huge hits by Michaela Cabral (Demcon Stomping Co., Inc.), Jenna O'Neal and Michelle Wood (both Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors).  Great defense from Demcon Stomping Co., Inc., and star pitching from Jenna O'Neal of Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors with 12 strikeouts.

Top Players:  Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors - Claire Armstrong, Jenna O'Neal, Michelle Wood; Demcon Stomping Co., Inc. - Mia Battilega, Michaela Cabral, Kaitlyn Jones

ThinkHR 6, Demcon Stomping Co., Inc. 2

Highlights:  For Demcon Stomping Co., Inc., Talia Florio and Sofia Molina scored the team's runs.  Rachel Shockley hit a double.  For ThinkHR, Mary Rockwood got 4 hits and a run.  Alyssa Bardakos got a hit and run and Caroline Clark got two hits.

MAJOR TEAL DIVISION

Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction 8, Cardinal Jewelers 2

Highlights:  The Cardinal Jewelers team started off strong in the first inning scoring two runs.  Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction then scored two runs with Fiona Moreno hitting a big double and Jennifer Zaballos hitting a double bringing in two runners to tie up the game.  In the third inning, Kiley Stowell had a great hit to bring in two more runners scoring five runs that inning with a final score of 8-2.

Top Players:  Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction - Emily Barber, Fiona Moreno, Kiley Stowell; Cardinal Jewelers - Kelsie Natsch, Katie Shigemoto, Isabella Withrow

Melisa Mazotti-Johnson, VP Tucker Assoc. 7, AMS 6

Highlights:  Close game, in which both teams hit well.  Big hits by Madison Dragotta and Karina Galvez of Melisa Mazotti-Johnson, VP Tucker Assoc., good hitting by AMS also, including those by Daniella Lyng and Holly Prynn.

Top Players:  AMS - Adriana Harris, Daniella Lyng, Holly Prynn; Melisa Mazotti-Johnson, VP Tucker Assoc. - Madison Dragotta, Karina Galvez, Jenna Reitsma

SENIOR DIVISION

Sallmann, Yang & Alameda 5, Kaelin Construction Inc. 1

Highlights:  Sallmann, Yang & Alameda defeated Kaelin Construction Inc. 5 to 1 in a pitcher's duel.  Sallmann, Yang & Alameda was led by Elena Montauti who allowed one hit and struck out 12, while Kaelin Construction Inc. was led by Kara Schott who allowed 5 hits and struck out 8.  Sallmann, Yang & Alameda was led by Ashley Woodruff who had a single and two RBIs in the first inning to put her team into the lead and Brittney Berckmoes who had a late inning hit and a RBI to give Sallmann, Yang & Alameda a much needed insurance run.  Kaelin Construction Inc. also had solid defense with Kalesha Leite behind the plate and Majken Stamnes at shortstop.

Top Players:  Sallmann, Yang & Alameda - Brittney Berckmoes, Elena Montauti, Ashley Woodruff; Kaelin Construction Inc. - Kalesha Leite, Kara Schott, Majken Stamnes

Valley Plumbing 11, Livermore Entity 7

Highlights:  The second meeting between Livermore Entity and Valley Plumbing had lots of great defensive and offensive plays.  As the game time expired while Valley Plumbing had bases loaded with one out at the bottom of 5th, Valley Plumbing edges past Livermore Entity by the score of 7-11.  At the top of 2nd, Livermore Entity had the bases loaded.  With an infield grounder, the ball took a wicked hop passing the second baseman, Brianna Jack. Livermore Entity capitalized it with 3 runs from that play and finishing the inning with 5 runs.  With great Livermore Entity’s pitching, Shalena Anderson, and defensive plays from third baseman, Katy Kennedy, they held Valley Plumbing to 1 run after 2 innings.  At the top of 3rd, Livermore Entity loaded the bases again with one out looking to extend the lead, but two great defensive plays from Valley Plumbing kept Livermore Entity scoreless.  The short stop, Jamie Altman, caught a line drive for the second out.  She also finished the game with 2 singles.  The last out of the inning was a pop-up right behind pitcher’s mound, and the second based, Karen Chang, charged the ball and made acrobatic back-handed catch to end the inning.  Valley Plumbing’s offense was running in full gear at the bottom of 4th, they had 7 singles and scoring 5 runs.  Valley Plumbing added 3 more runs at the bottom of 5th.
