Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s vs. Zaballos Construction

Highlights:  Olivia Marquez did a great job fielding for the Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s.  Ella Patterson was a power hitter.  Kaitlyn Evitt had some great hits and plays at 1st base.  On the Zaballos Construction team, Emily Mayer made 2 great catches at 1st, while Maddie Neves had a perfect strong hit in the 2nd inning.  Reagan McCarn also had a great hit and hustle to 1st base in the 3rd inning.  Go Teams.

Highlights:  What a fun game to watch as these two teams of cuties played on Monday night!  AutoTrader.com's Ava Marie did a great job hitting and driving all the bases in at the end of each inning!  Emma O. shined as a fielder when she threw out one of the Zaballos Construction players at 1st base.  And Amali showed off her throwing arm when she played outfield!  As for Zaballos Construction, Sophia F. showed her talent as she batted with strength and power, while Kate shined as a pitcher, catching the ball fabulously in the 3rd inning.  Abby, too, looked alive as she hustled around the bases. Amazing job, everyone!

Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s vs. Mozes

Highlights:  For Sports Assoc. of Alameda Co. Sheriff’s - Katelyn Guerra with a great hit in the 1st.  Gia Galletti had another fantastic hit in the 2nd inning.   Morgan Atkinson did a great job fielding a lot of hits at pitcher in the 3rd inning. For Mozes - Noelle Woodward with fantastic defensive play at pitcher.  Samantha Riter providing offensive firepower in all three innings.  Maggie French with heads-up defensive play at pitcher, including a clean out in the 3rd inning.

Sheriff’s - Sienna Cisneros had a great hit in the 3rd inning.  While at pitcher, Olivia Marquez had some great throws to 1st base.  Kaitlyn Evitt did a great all around job at hitting and fielding during the game.  AutoTrader.com - Great hustle in the infield for Makenna Madden.  Anna Marshall had some great hitting - batted clean up and brought her team home!  Emma Morris had great fielding and tagged out a runner at home!

Highlights:  Laura Nussbaum’s fine fielding at pitcher led Dublin Holiday Inn in their game with Sports Style by Mommy and Me Photography.  Saylor Limkakeng and Isabel Corson had key hits for Dublin Holiday Inn.  Grace Lazano and Ashlynn O’Nesky had several big hits for Sports Style by Mommy and Me Photography.  Sara Vannoni led Sports Style by Mommy and Me Photography in the field.

Highlights:  Lauren O’Rourke had her best game for Dublin Holiday Inn in their game with Zaballos Construction. Jillian Barth’s hit into left field cleared the bases and Ava Haubner had a great game fielding and hitting.  Zaballos Construction were paced by the hitting of twins Abigail and Eliana Clubb.

MICRO DIVISION

Borg Fence vs. Delores Gragg, Realtor-Keller Williams

Highlights:  Delores Gragg, Realtor-Keller Williams played great defense!  Allison Chervet, Lauren Han, Kate Derham and Kayla Gonzaga all made outs.  Great job girls!  Borg Fence also played great.  Gabby Tobey had a great hit out to the outfield in the bottom of the fourth inning.  Ellie Flora threw for an out at 1st which was caught by 1st baseman Emma Crabb!  Great job girls.

Me and My Friends Deli vs. TG Information Systems

Highlights:  Mason made two nice plays at the catcher position for Me and My Friends Deli.  Sophia Fraher had a hit, and came home for a run.  Jorden Kruzner had a big hit for Me and My Friends Deli also.  Coco Benson fielded an out at homeplate then hit an awesome popfly single for TG Information Systems.  Mia Hildebrand and Ella Melvin made an impressive double play.

Highlights:  Great hitting by both sides.

NetApp vs. State Farm Insurance – Leslie Wolf

Highlights:  For State Farm Insurance – Leslie Wolf:  Grace Haubner played 2nd base and had an outstanding play. Lauren Sowers had a base hit and Aoife Stapleton played 1st base and made some great plays.  For NetApp, Vanessa Montler had a good hit, Corey Timby played great short stop and Rylee Scanlon got onto base with each at bat.

Minuteman Press of Pleasanton vs. Me and My Friends Deli

Highlights:  Minuteman Press of Pleasanton were led on offense by Alisa Ebel who smashed the ball all day long and Kylie Pfotenhauer played a great 3rd base making many great plays in the game.  Kayla Galvez had a big hit for Me and My Friends Deli for a RBI and Gwen Buteau made a nice solo tag at 3rd base to anchor the Me and My Friends Deli defense.

Alliance Pharmacy Consulting, Inc. vs. Pleasanton Glass

Highlights:  Frentz line drive catch to Voorhees at 2nd for game ending double play.  Solid play at 3rd by Stewart, nice throws to 1st by Novi and Nathan big hit by Alexander.

Richert Lumber Co., Inc. vs. Fusion 3 Salon

Highlights:  Due to previous rain outs, the softball players of Richert Lumber Co., Inc. and Fusion 3 Salon were overly anxious to take the field.  Callie McCarthy had the first big hit of the evening for Richert Lumber Co., Inc.  It started a hitting rally with Lydia Caraballo and Mackenzie Davis next to take big swings.  In the outfield for Fusion 3 Salon Hailey Maher showed great form as catcher and a solid base hit.  Jessica Lund got a great base hit at her turn to bat for Fusion 3 Salon that sent Sophia Minnite home.  As for Richert Lumber Co., Inc. they were on their game.  Ella Piergrossi took an unassisted out at 1st to shut down Fusion 3 Salon.  Izzy McElroy showed her skills at the pitcher.  It was a battle to the end.

Richert Lumber Co., Inc. vs. eIQ

Highlights:  As the Richert Lumber Co., Inc. softball team took the field they knew they had some serious competition. Team eIQ had their game faces on and were ready for action.  Team eIQ’s top players were Kaitlyn Lemus, Kelly Fietz and Maria Gallegos.  All of these players showed great skills behind the plate and in the outfield.  For Richert Lumber Co., Inc., Sydney Cohen started out the evening with a nice solid hit to centerfield.  The rally ended with Caroline Surridge sending a ball down the 1st base line.  By the time the ball found its way to 1st, Caroline was already there safe.  In the outfield Kate Sanders not only celebrated her 7th birthday but had the play of the game.  She caught a fly ball to 3rd and tagged the bag for the out.  Way to go! Top Players:  Richert Lumber Co., Inc. - Sydney Cohen, Kate Sanders, Caroline Surridge; eIQ - Kelly Fietz, Maria Gallegos, Kaitlyn Lemus

Highlights:  Rachel Tanis and Kayla had a nice fielding play for Me and My Friends Deli.  Sophia Fraher had a big hit single.  Viviana had a big hit and fielding play for Alliance Pharmacy Consulting, Inc.

San Jose Boiler Works Inc. vs. Jabwire

Highlights:  San Jose Boiler Works Inc. defense was hot, Chloe made some great plays, Morgan caught a line drive at shortstop and Kamryn struck out 3 batters in a row!  Jabwire were strong on offense with a number of great hits including the ones by Beth, Sarah and Destiny - Nice game girls.

Highlights:  Line drives into the outfield by Sammy McClain (Jabwire) and Kamryn Flemmings (San Jose Boiler Works Inc.).  Pop up caught by Sarah Liggett (Jabwire) behind the plate.  Great teamwork at 1st between Sarah Shavers, 1stbase, and Julia Simmons, right field, (Jabwire) to get an out.

MINI TEAL DIVISION

Savvy Seconds 9, Bryan Enterprises-Building Contractors 3

Highlights:  It was a chilly, breezy day, but the bats were hot, as Bryan Enterprises-Building Contractors and Savvy Seconds took the field.  Corey Bryan delivered a big hit, defensive plays, and solid pitching for Bryan Enterprises-Building Contractors.  Isabela Killian fielded a shot to short stop and threw for the out at 1st.  Angelica Alger also batted well, and was effective on 1st base for Bryan Enterprises-Building Contractors.  Savvy Seconds had the bats and hits going for 4 innings.  Bryan Enterprises-Building Contractors warmed up at the bottom of the 4th to score 3 runs and finish strong.

J Lohr Winery – Jeff Meier 4, KR Electric 0

Highlights:  Pitchers Kate Inman, Rachel Pettey and Jenna Brown combined on J Lohr Winery – Jeff Meier 's second consecutive shutout win.  Brown had an RBI double and fielded a nice throw at 1st for an out from shortstop Emma Hodges.  Amanda Engel, Inman and Pettey led off with singles in the first inning, while Aliyah Baxter, Hilyn Park, Rea Claw and Madelyn Rovira also had hits for J Lohr Winery – Jeff Meier.  Jessica Hungerford, Samantha Gray and Taylor See led KR Electric.

Highlights:  Savvy Seconds was led by Natalie Larsen's two hits and defensive play, Nishitha Shetty's defense at 3rdbase and Jillian Brugaletta's hitting.  J Lohr Winery – Jeff Meier saw Amanda Engel make a nice catch, Rachel Pettey produce a run-scoring single and Kate Inman deliver two hits with a run scored.

Highlights:  Richert Lumber Co., Inc. had a great start scoring five runs in the first inning.  Hope hits a double. Maddie, Bella, Molly, Emily, Liberty, Lauren, Lex, Brooke, Julia G, Julia C & Isa all with a single or more during the game. Awesome pitching by Liberty with 7 strikeouts.  Also Isa had a strikeout & Maddie with 2 strikeouts.  Great defense & batting by the whole team.  GO RICHERT LUMBER CO., INC.!!!!!

Creative Imaging 7, Cupids Tooth 6

Highlights:  Creative Imaging defeated Cupids Tooth 7-6 in an early season instant classic.  The game had 5 lead changes and was not decided until the last at bat when Jorie Fanfa of Creative Imaging turned in an unassisted double play at 1st base to end the game.  Alia Paul added a double and a RBI, while Jessica Shockley had a single and a RBI for Creative Imaging.  Cupids Tooth was led by Brenna Adams with two hits and a RBI, Grace Gundermann with two hits and a RBI, and Nagisa Smalheiser who had a hit and a RBI.

MINOR BLACK DIVISION

ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc. 5, Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors 4

Highlights:  Very exciting game between two tough teams that gave it their all.  Strong pitching by ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc.'s Pickett and Kong kept the score close and strong defense by Jefferies and Jenezon kept the ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc. in the game.  Soble's hit in the bottom of the 6th, scored the game winning run for ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc.  Both O'Neal girls and Wood were strong on offense and defense for the Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors and Hannah Meyer made two great plays at 2nd base.

Demcon Stomping Co. Inc. 5, ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc. 3

Highlights:  Demcon Stomping Co. Inc.  beat ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc. by a score of 5-3 with strong showings by both teams.  Molina did a great job catching and solid pitching from Jones and McGee made them tough to beat.  Cabral was tough at the plate and scored as did Jones.  Sanchez pitched a great 3 innings for ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc. and Soble was steady catching for all 6.  Williams had a good hit, Kong had a great catch at right field and Sam was awesome as usual!

Highlights:  Demcon Stomping Co. Inc. had solid pitching performances by Claire Fuller, Kaitlyn Jones and Olivia McGee.  Michelle Wood of Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors was strong at the plate.

Highlights:  For ACC Environmental Consultants, Inc., Sanchez pitched a strong 4 innings and helped keep ThinkHR at bay.  Amanda Harding had a great game with a hit, good base running and she made an out at 1st.  Jefferies also made a good catch at 2nd and Thorton, DeFazio and Jenezon played strong defense.  Soble had a great game too!  For ThinkHR, Williams and Crimi did a great job pitching and Rockwood played strong at 1st base.  Clark had a good hit, Bardakos was strong defensively and McHone was great behind the plate.

Highlights:  A strong defensive game with pitching led by Emily Crimi and Danielle Williams for ThinkHR and pitching led by Jessica and Jenna O'Neal for Tim McGuire Team–Alain Pinel Realtors.  Mary Rockwood single with double RBI. Alyssa Bardakos stopped some hard hit fly balls, Terra McHone stayed strong protecting home plate as catcher for ThinkHR.  Jessica O'Neal strong pitching, Lauren HoTseung good fielding, Courtney Dinelli solid at shortstop.

Highlights:  For Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction some of the key plays were: Kiley Stowell with a great hit to the right field for a double, great pitching by Myranda Marzocco, and an awesome triple hit by Jennifer Zaballas.  Some key plays for Diablo Designs Tile and Stone: Kamryn Brown had a great hit, Andrea Ludwig and Olivia Wilcox also had some good plays.

Highlights:  Nichole Crawley was tough at 2nd base today and went 2 for 2 at the plate with a showstopper bunt.  Haley Swingler was fierce at shortstop, batted 3 for 3 and led the day with 4 stolen bases.

Mancebo Corporation 16, Diablo Designs Tile and Stone 7

Highlights:  Marissa Mancebo was on fire today pitching 5 strike-outs in 2 innings, slamming the ball to deep center field clearing the loaded bases with a stand-up triple and knocking in 5 of Mancebo Corporation’s 16 runs.  Erin Costello played tough defense at 2nd base and shortstop, she was unstoppable at the plate going 4 for 4 and bringing in 3 runs. Hanna Stevens played a great game at 3rd base and ripped a big hit to left field for another stand-up triple for the team driving in 2 runs and 3 RBI’s for the day.

J Lohr Winery – Jeff Meier 11, Land Mark Mortgage 8

Highlights:  Shelby Slate had 2 singles, a double and 2 RBIs, Ashna Jasuja pitched two innings, struck out four and had a single and a RBI, Bailey Costello pitched 3 innings, closing out the game with two strike outs and four total and also had a hit.

Life Technologies 8, AMS 7

Highlights:  Big hits by Anika Simons and Jasmin Ross of Life Technologies drove in 2 runs each.  AMS's Danielle Jiminez also batted well, with a sacrifice, a single, and a double.

SENIOR DIVISION

Livermore (Swag) 15, Valley Plumbing 4

Highlights:  With strong pitching and defense by Livermore, Valley Plumbing was held to 4 runs after 6 innings of play. Valley Plumbing allowed 5 runs with 4 fielding errors in the first inning, but the defense came alive in the later innings. In the 5th inning, catcher, Lexi Campisi, caught a foul ball for the second out, and center fielder, Sabrina McGraw, caught a line drive to end the inning.  The first double play of the season came in the top of 6th by second baseman, Brie Horning.  With runners on 1st and 2nd, she caught a line drive and stepped on 2nd base to end the inning.  The offensive highlight was by Lexi Campisi with triple in the 2nd inning.

Livermore (Entity) 19, Valley Plumbing 13

Highlights:  Valley Plumbing’s strong defensive play continued from last game with another double play in the top of 1stby third baseman, Veronica Giessler.  The offensive came alive as well with 5 runs in the bottom of 1st highlighted by second triple of this season by Lexi Campisi.  With the game tied at 11-11, Livermore’s offense came in full gear in the top of 5th scoring 8 runs.  Livermore’s Anna Murphy was dominant at the plate with 3 for 4.  In the bottom 5th, Valley Plumbing started to make a comeback.  With strong pitching by Shalena Anderson who pitched the entire game and defense, Valley Plumbing was held to 2 runs and left 3 on the bases to end the inning.

Top Players:  Valley Plumbing - Karen Chang, Sabrina McGraw, Madeline McGuire; Livermore - Shalena Anderson, Anna Murphy, Ida Ortiz

Sallmann, Yang & Alameda 13, Livermore (Storm) 7

Highlights:  Sallmann, Yang & Alameda defeated Livermore 13 to 7 behind strong pitching from Elena and Akiko. Elena added a two run triple and Akiko had a two run double to put their team ahead.  Haley Hjerpe contributed with a single and a RBI and turned in a strong performance at 1st base.
