Saturday is opening day for most Pleasanton Little League teams.

The official opening ceremony is 10:30-11:30 a.m., with local VIPs throwing out the first pitch. Attendees are scheduled to include: Congressman Eric Swalwell; Pleasanton Vice-Mayor Cheryl Cook-Kallio, Pleasanton City Councilmembers; School Board President Jeff Bowser, Retired Pro-Baseball Player Greg Jefferies; PFLL Board Members.
