Amador Valley High and Livermore High face off in a busy night of high school football

It's a busy night tonight for the Tri-Valley high school football teams.

Two of them, Amador Valley HighΒ and Livermore High, face off, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Dons' stadium in Pleasanton.

Amador Valley is 2-2 so far this season while the Cowboys are 3-1, having lost their first game of the season last week to De La Salle High.

The Spartans will also travel to Pleasanton to take on Foothill High.

De La Salle is now 3-1 while the Falcons are 1-3. having lost their two previous games.

The other local match-up has Dublin High playing at home against Alhambra High of Martinez.

The Gaels are 3-1 and they are coming off a bye week. The Bulldogs are 2-3 so far this season.
