The Star: Zoe Price was 3 for 3 for Amador Valley.

The Turning Point: After Amador took a 1-0 lead in the second, Berkeley responded with five runs in the following half-inning to take control. Despite getting 10 hits, Amador wasn't able to string together much of a comeback attempt.

The Bottom Line: It'll be considered a successful year for the Dons, but ends in heartbreak as they joined East Bay Athletic League co-champions No. 2 Livermore and No. 3 California as a first-round upset victim.
