Two Foothill Athletes Crowned Lacrosse All-Americans
Falcons' goalie and attack-man tops in Nor Cal LAX.
Two Foothill High School lacrosse players snagged All-American honors from US Lacrosse, the national governing body for the sport.
Senior Patrick Shevelson, goalie, and junior Jerome Rigor, attack player, were among 15 Bay Area lacrosse athletes selected by the Northern California Chapter of US Lacrosse.
"This is the highest honor a high school player can receive in Northern
California," said Foothill varsity boys lacrosse coach Bob McManus.

Players are nominated by their coaches and, then, selected by a US Lacrosse All-American committee made up of Northern California coaches and league representatives.
"We are extremely proud of our 2012 All-Americans," said Carlos Trujillo, US Lacrosse NorCal chairman for the secondary school division.
