The multicolored blankets are in place (people start staking out their spot literally at midnight on Fridays), the weather is gorgeous and a free concert is about to kick off the Pleasanton Downtown Association's weekly summer music series.
Pleasanton Patch along with LocalGruv is sponsoring tonight's show, which starts at 7 p.m.
On stage will be country rockers The Bacchus Brothers and Lisa Marie Johnston.
