Billed as the only Chicago-style restaurant in the Tri Valley region, the specialties at Chicago's Metropolitan Deli include Italian beef sandwiches with sweet peppers and giardiniera (spicy peppers), Chicago hot dogs, beef and lamb gyros, and spicy Italian sandwiches. The restaurant, started about 5 years ago, has a casual atmosphere with three TV's usually showing the day's biggest games.
