Hart Middle School

<p>Thomas S. Hart Middle School opened in 2000 and has a state-of-the-art facility complete with a science building, library and sports facilities. In 2007, four new classrooms were added to the campus.</p> <p>The principal is Steve Maher, and the school mascot is the Huskies. </p> <p>The school is located in the Hacienda Business Park and enrolls about 1200 students. Since it was established, the school has been recognized as a California Distinguished School. It's curriculum includes health, history, language arts, mathematics, performing arts, physical education, science and world language.</p> <p>The school has a Parent Faculty Association, which promotes volunteerism among it's members. The group also helps plan and host school events and fundraise for school-specific needs.</p>
