Finally, a local source for the quality meat and seafood we get at top restaurants and read about in food magazines and newspapers. I walked in last week planning an evening BBQ, met Tony and Scott, they were friendly, very knowledgeable about their selections, taking time to explain the differences between cuts and sources, offered cooking tips. I took a selection of New York strips, and , yes the Painted Hills organic, no hormone, suststainably raised beef was a decidedly tastier steak than the top Angus. Worth the extra cost.
I'm a big fan of Bison ( buffalo) and theirs was lean and flavorful.
I can't wait to try the lamb.

Located on the corner of Main Street and Spring Street, Main Street Meat and Fish Market offers organic meat products including, beef, pork, lamb and seafood. Owners Tony Nora and Matt Schockley believe that residents of Pleasanton are knowledgeable and careful of the food they eat and so they promise to get farm fresh meat to the city. I've been there several times now and each time the service was outstanding. The RibEye and the Halibut was the best I can remember having. I also like that Tony cooks samples of his product on the BBQ and offers it up to his customers. Thanks guys.
