Shining Light Preschool

<p>Shining Light Preschool is a Christian-based, parent-cooperative pre-school for children ages 3 to 5. It is part of Valley Community Church on Del Valle Parkway. It focuses on kindergarten readiness skills and fostering a Christian environment.</p> <p>Teachers trained in Early Childhood Development provide small classes of 9 to 12 children in morning or afternoon sessions. Preschool children aged 3 may attend two or three days per week, pre-kindergarten children aged 4 attend three or four days per week and "Year-2-Grow" children aged 5 attend four days per week.</p> <p>Shining Light supports close parent interaction with their children's learning through monthly newsletters, weekly e-mails, an "open-door" policy, daily interaction with teachers and monthly co-op parent sessions in the classroom.
