Glad to have more organic choices and healthy meat choices (grass fed, no antibiotics, no hormones,…Read More free range)...nice that it is easily accessible from Livermore via Stanley. Looking forward to my first visit. I'm hoping they will carry some things that Trader Joe's does not. Hoping too that the prices will be comparible to TJs. Whole Foods is exhorbitant. If the prices compart to WFs, I would not be able to frequent this place. Keep it real and be sensitive to the fallen economy, New Leaf. Thank you...

Cant wait to check out the new Flair Market! There are kids in college who have never seen a grocery…Read More store there.

It's good. Best if eaten on site. But its no DeLaTorres when it comes to pizza.

Ed Scott, dream on !! However, it would be nice for there to be a place to have drink here,…Read More especially since I can walk from my home in about 20 mins. A little wine bar would be great.

Congratulations Pleasanton Main Street! I love our restaurants, our shops, our museum, the tree…Read More lined street, The Firehouse and our Pleasanton sign over our Main Street!

Our downtown is boring!!! Livermore is way more family friendly with something for every age…Read More group.... Main St. is over rated. Not much to go there for, even the few shops have nothing worth shopping for....Our downtown is always so empty, hardly anyone is around when I've been down there. First St. on the other hand is always filled with a good crowd, with a great vibe. A bunch of us moms make a trip there a couple times a month for a get together whether it be for lunch or dinner. We love it.

So how'd Livermore do? Because from the majority of posts here, one would think they invented the…Read More " Main" street.
...but I still like ours better.

If this is all based on the data this NerdWallet site has, then this article is worthless. Maybe…Read More people in Atherton are not users of the site. Maybe it looks only at earned income W2-style than total assets... Who knows. Oh, and who cares?

I would have thought that in the Bay Area, Atherton, Tiburon, Los Gatos, Los Altos Hills would have…Read More had a greater percentage of high-income earners. Still, the median income is just one indicator of wealth. For an accurate picture, you need the mean and the standard deviation (shows the range of incomes that 2/3 of the population makes).

12.95 is a lot better than 0.00. Live within your means until you can do better!

@Cali I agree with some of your comments. What you don't realize is that employers pay…Read More "good" employees more to keep them or they lose them to other competitors. As an employer, I must pay my employees more if I want to keep them. If they do a good job and make me more money, I have more money to retain them. This is a difficult concept for those who don't believe they should "earn" their pay by being better than the other guy. You can't just "show up" any more and have that be good enough. Most of us don't work for the government. We have to produce to be profitable. If we want to make more we work harder or smarter.

Love Eddie Papas! With family members that have severe allergies I am so grateful to have a place…Read More where I never have to worry about cross contamination! I've never had a bad waitperson and food is always great. A wonderful. Place to take kids, family from out of town, picky eaters, anyone looking for a pleasant meal or a good drink.

We had three bad meals in a row and tried one more time because we really wanted to like it.…Read More Serving my child cold bacon with globs of thick, white grease from the bottom of the pan (must have been sitting around a long time) was the nail in the coffin. This was after we sent the first batch back because it was litteraly incinerated beyond edibility. I tried, I really tried to like it but it will never happen again.

We live in the Val Vista neighborhood and loved going to Eddie Papas at least twice a month. We…Read More would always take company from out of town there as well. Then about 6 - 8 months ago the service & food went dowhill. On two seperate visits our order was wrong and on both visits one of us watched the other comsume their whole meal before the other was re-served. There was a woman that was the manager and both times she gave us a wooden nickle for a free dessert. We have never used them. The last straw was when we were seated and ignored for 15 minutes while people that came in after us were attended to.

DOMUS could become an open market for local fresh produce sales and healthy eating alternatives with…Read More everyone pre-paying for their space within the facility (like which exist at the San Fran wharf)

Love the new Starbuck's and the drive-thru, but poorly designed. when the drive-thru gets crowded…Read More the cars block in all of the parked cars - if you plan to park there don't park in the path of the drive-thru or else you'll be waiting with the rest of the caffeine-addicted crazies like me!

FYI--this came on on Livermore Patch--but there is no mention as to which city this is in??? people…Read More don't know the name of all these little centers. would be much more helpful if you listed the cross roads--and in this case..the city you are talking about. (Pleasanton? but that's just a guess)

True we do needs Longs to come back-BUT it's all about money. I worked for Longs Drugs for many years including when the buyout happened and the conversation took place.

I would love to see Pleasanton get a cafe that's open late. Even on the weekends, Pleasanton goes to…Read More sleep by 9 p.m. If my husband or I want to get more work done in the evenings or just relax somewhere, we have to go to Dublin's Starbucks at Hacienda Crossing or Panama Red in Livermore. There are some bars open late, but we don't do bars.
Surely there are enough students and nine to fivers in Pleasanton to support this? I thought years ago that I'd have been the one to open something like this. Clearly, I'm not, but I would eagerly support a cafe open til 10 duirng the week, midnight on the weekends would be great.
The 1st Hunan Chef Wong may or may not be the best location. I would enjoy it there. I already use a lot of businesses downtown. Am I the only one who would use a cafe after supper time?

Love the feedback Pleasanton...!!! We are sooooo excited to bring BBD to Pleasanton. Thanks to all…Read More that are so welcoming to us. love hearing how many of you get us... and what we are about. We certainly are true to our name that we are based on a Diner. Casual, come as you are atmosphere with solid food and a great Price/value relationship. We certainly never have thought of ourselves as a culinary experience, just good old fashioned family food, and yes, lots of it. We are proud that we do actually make much of our items on the premise. We house make our meatloaf,,, yes, starting with ground beef and all. We take ground pork, and make our own pork patties, and we bake our own biscuits everyday. thanks again, and looking forward to becoming a neighbor in Pleasanton, CA!
