Established by the City of Pleasanton in 1984, the Pleasanton Downtown Association is a non-profit organization with…More the mission of developing and promoting downtown. It's funding comes from the city, sponsorships, events and memberships. Both full and associate memberships are available.</p> <p>The group has six committees charged with parking, design and beautification, downtown vitality, marketing and education, murals and ambassadorships. </p> <p>The 1st Wednesday Street Party and Concert in the Park are among the popular events organized by the association.</p>
