A 14-year resident of Pleasanton, Calif., Cameron is a professional communication specialist, writer, columnist and website content creator. As an active community member, Cameron has written for Bay Area publications since 2002. Past weekly columns appeared in the Valley Times and the Tri-Valley Herald from 2004 to 2009. She has written a Friday column and other articles on Pleasanton Patch since the launch of Patch in early 2010. Cameron also authors the blog,  CandidCameron.
