Carolyn Lord, Neighbor

My name is Carolyn Lord and I am an artist.  I live in Livermore and create drawings and paintings of the local scene: buildings, gardens,landscapes. Sometimes the reason I chose a particular subject is because of the formal aesthetic elements of shape, color, light and shadow. Othertimes there is a story or idea about the subject that makes the painting even more enjoyable and compelling to me. By definition, that makes me a "limner: one who draws, paints, or describes".
