Police Searching for Pleasanton Bank Robber

Local elementary school temporarily locked down after Chase Bank on Hopyard at Stoneridge was robbed Tuesday morning.

Two Pleasanton schools were locked down for a short time Tuesday morning after a nearby bank was robbed, according to an email sent to parents.

The email stated:

Donlon Elementary and Hart Middle School were placed on lockdown at 9:40 AM as a precaution.  This proactive measure was a district decision due to a bank robbery within the area of Hopyard and Stoneridge.  There was no danger to the school sites.  
The lockdown was lifted as of 10:05 AM.

Suspect at large wanted for bank robbery in the area of Hopyard/Stoneridge Dr. He was last seen leaving Chase Bank on foot. 

Suspect description: Black male adult, 30-40 years old, with mustache, wearing a blue hat and a blue and white plaid shirt. Last seen on foot in the area of Chase Bank on Hopyard/Stoneridge.
