Patch Readers Send Prayers, Support to Pelillo Family

News of a 57-year-old Pleasanton woman who died in a vehicle accident on Interstate 580 hits home to Patch readers.

Patch readers continue to leave comments offering support and prayers to Wanda Pelillo's family.

The 57-year-old Pleasanton woman died Monday in a vehicle accident. The mother was killed while riding in a car driven by her 22-year-old son when the car flew off a railroad overcrossing and crashed into a hillside on westbound Interstate 580 near Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with major injuries, the CHP said.
