Sprouts & Shutters: Acadia Health Open
The health food store is open downtown in Pleasanton
A new store offering health supplements for adults and children recently opened on Main Street in Pleasanton. Acadia Health Market opened in June and offers organic super foods as well as sports nutrition products.
The store's owner, James Li, says the store supports "family wellness and healthy living."
"The July 27 wine stroll was a great success for us," Li said. "I have yet to tally the total number of people who came, I believe it's over 150. People were lining up from the back room all the way to the outside of store."
According to Li, the store will soon offer baby food, select toys for kids, and some infant and mother care products.
Acadia Health is open seven days a week and can be found at 608 Main Street in Pleasanton.
