Sprouts & Shutters: Stoneridge Creek Pleasanton Grand Opening
The retirement community officially opened this morning with a ribbon cutting celebration attended by local dignitaries.
Stoneridge Creek Pleasanton, which took years to become a reality, celebrated its grand opening this morning. The retirement community is home to hundreds of seniors from all over the Tri-Valley and beyond, including Pat Kohnen, whose late husband, Jim Kohnen, was beloved in the Dublin community. Kohnen died in the summer of 2012 died before Stonderidge Creek was completed.

According to a release issued by Stoneridge Creek, the community offers a wide variety of recreation and opportunities for seniors to enjoy including a wine room, spa with a salon, a library, fitness center and movie theater. The facility also has health services, a billiard room and putting green, according to the Stoneridge Creek website.
Over the summer, the retirement community advertised a mass hiring for a range of jobs at the campus.
