Childhood Health and Fitness 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run for Girl Scout Gold Award

On September 22nd at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park, Annaka Green, a Senior Girl Scout and Sophmore at Amador Valley High School, will be hosting a 5k and 1 mile fun run as part of her Gold Award. This event is being put on to raise awareness for childhood health and fitness. The entry fee of $5 includes a t-shirt to first 200 entries and healthy snacks.  Before and after race festivities will include booths put on by local health and fitness businesses.
