Join us for a showing of a highly informative and thought provoking video by Prof. Lawrence Lessig, who is a driving force in the national campaign to empower people over money. Speakers and panel members will include campaign finance expert Stacy Owens and Jay Costa, program director at Maplight.org, a non-profit campaign finance watchdog.
This forum will explore:
- The true nature of the threat of big money in politics to democracy
- Who are the givers and the takers, and how much?
- How you can follow the money
- What we can do to fix a corrupt system
