Tashlich Service and Picnic:

Join Congregation Beth Emek as we observe Tashlich, the Jewish ritual in which the previous year’s sins are symbolically “cast off” into a large, natural body of flowing water. Please bring bread or cracker crumbs to use for Tashlich.

We will meet up at the Lago Del Sol Group Picnic Site at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park for the Tashlich service at 4:00p. Following the short service, we will join together for a picnic. Each family is asked to bring their own kosher-style picnic dinner.

Congregation Beth Emek will prepay parking passes. We encourage you to carpool from the CBE parking lot. Please leave a note in the comments section of the electronic invitation if you would like a parking pass. The passes will be handed out as you arrive at the entry kiosk by a Beth Emek volunteer who will direct you to the Lago Del Sol picnic site.
