Pleasanton Police said a Dublin man intentionally hit someone with his car around 5:20 p.m. Friday in the Stoneridge mall parking lot.
The two had just been arguing and the victim, 28, was walking away when the driver drove his Silverado truck up onto the sidewalk near J.C. Penney's, hitting the man.
The victim suffered a concussion and scrapes but is expected to survive.
The driver left the scene but was caught nearby in Dublin and arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
