FBI Looking for Neatly Dressed Bank Robber
Man dubbed the "button-down" bandit suspected of robbing banks in Pleasanton and Walnut Creek earlier this month.
Bay City News Service — The FBI is working with Pleasanton and Walnut Creek police to track down a serial bank robber who has been dubbed the "button-down bandit," FBI officials said.
The button-down bandit is sought for two bank robberies in March, including a March 12 heist in Pleasanton at the Wells Fargo at 4746 Hopyard Road and a March 6 robbery at the Chase Bank at 1510 Camino Verde in Walnut Creek, FBI officials said.
In both cases the suspect presented a note and verbally demanded money.

The suspect is known to wear a button-down, long sleeve collared shirt. He is described as a black man between the ages of 30 and 35, standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a medium build.
Along with the button-down shirt he has worn dark gray dress slacks and black dress shoes. Other witnesses said he has a scruffy beard and goatee. He has been seen wearing dark sunglasses.
