Police Release More Details About Gold Chopsticks Robbery

Police say the man used a gun during the robbery to demand cash. The suspect, who was wearing a gray shirt, dark pants and a backward dark colored baseball style hat, ran toward West Last Positas with an undisclosed amount of money.

Information from the Pleasanton Police Department--

At about 2:05 pm on Wednesday, May 29th, Gold Chopsticks, located at 3170 Santa Rita Rd, was robbed by a lone suspect. The suspect, who was described as a Hispanic or light skinned black male, 18-20 years old, 5’-7” tall, with a slender build, entered the restaurant and presented a black handgun.

The suspect demanded money from the restaurant employee. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran out the front door of the business and ran eastbound on W. Las Positas Blvd. where he got into a car parked on Weymouth Ct. The suspect was last seen driving away eastbound on W. Las Positas Blvd. 

The suspect was wearing a gray shirt, dark pants and a backward dark colored baseball style hat. He was also wore sunglasses and was carrying a black back pack.

The suspect vehicle was described as a silver, older model 80’s “beat up looking” 4 door Toyota Camry.
