PPIE’s: Toasts & Tastes of Fall in Photos

The annual fundraiser supports the Pleasanton schools

Three hundred people turned out to the CarrAmerica Conference center on Saturday to raise money and support Pleasanton schools for the Pleasanton Partnerships In Education annual fundraiser, PPIE’s Culinary Event: Bon Appetit – Toasts & Tastes of Fall.

Guests enjoyed buffet style tastes such as "faux gras" and salad, pulled pork sliders, ceviche and cannolis paired with wine along with live music and a silent auction.

Pleasanton school principals, local chefs and a business sponsor formed fifteen culinary teams.

CBS 5 news anchor and well-known Pleasanon local, Juliette Goodrich, announced the evening's winners.  Matt Greco of Wente Vineyards won the "Best Savory" award and chefs "Ashley and Michelle" of Eddie Papa's won the award for "Best Sweet" treat for their begniets. Donlon Elementary won the award for the most tickets sold.

Whimsical fall balloon decor was created for the event by Pleasanton's own Balloons and Beyond located on Main Street in Pleasanton.
