Fundraisers for Murder Victim's Children 
Money has been raised for the children of former Tri-Valley resident Amber Seymore, who was killed in a murder-suicide by her husband in North Carolina. Amber, who lived previously in the Tri-Valley, was murdered on Dec. 3 by her husband, former BART officer, Robert Seymore, before he turned the gun on himself. Two women in North Carolina have been raising money to help with the care of Amber's three young children.

Brush Fire Delayed Traffic Near BART Station
brush fire broke out near the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station around 4 p.m. on May 15, according to Pulsepoint. Reader Steve Glavan says traffic was stopped while the fire personnel extinguished the flames.

Summer Recreational Swim Program Moves to Amador Valley High School Pool
Due to the renovation of the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center this summer, recreational swim will move to the Amador Valley High School pool. Program begins on May 25.

Unemployment Rate Drops Sharply In The East Bay
