Water District Using Large Crane to Replace, Repair Failed Clarifier Components. A 65-ton crane is being used at the Dublin San Ramon Services District wastewater treatment plant in Pleasanton this week to replace critical infrastructure that failed after more than 30 years of service. Info here.

Fire Crews Rescue Bicyclist In Ravine, Area Teeming With Rattlesnakes. Livermore-Pleasanton Fire’s Engine 99 and Alameda County Fire’s Engine 8 and Station 20 units along with Battalion 3 responded to the Arroyo Staging (Del Valle Dam Regional Park) for a call involving a bicyclist who fell off the main road into the ravine.
