Sprouts & Shutters: The CyclePros Closed

By Autumn Johnson

The CyclePros
bicycle shop in Pleasanton has closed. The windows of the bike shop are covered and there is a lease sign in the window.

According to an employee of the Bay Properties Lease company, the bike shop had a five year lease but left just after two years. The leasing company employee, who did not give his name, said the owner of the bike shop had told him that business had been "too slow."

Attempts to reach anyone from the CyclePros for comment have been unsuccessful.

Although the exact date of the closure is not know, employees at the nearby Fusion 3 Salon says the bicycle store has been closed for "several weeks."

The CyclePros is another in a growing list of closures in downtown Pleasanton. On June 10, the Roundtable Pizza on Main Street closed. Me and My Friend's CafeCold Stone, Domus, Amelia's and 1st Hunan Chef Wong have all closed their doors along Main Street within the last year.
