Police Log: Golf Club Furniture Swiped; Plus, Fraudsters, Drugs and Thieves

Significant arrests logged, and more from July 21 to 27.

As a remodel was underway last week at Callippe Preserve Golf Course, thieves absconded with clubhouse furniture, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

A tan leather sofa, loveseat and chair, valued at a combined $4,000, were stolen sometime overnight Tuesday to Wednesday from the course facility on 8500 Clubhouse Drive, records state. The set was left outside for the night as new floors were installed. Tables were left behind.

  • Bicyclist gravely injured on Pleasanton Ridge; airlifted to hospital.
  • Female arrested 1:10 a.m. along 6700 Santa Rita Road for suspected driving under the influence.

  • Double drug arrest: Hayward male, 28, and Hayward female, 25,  12:56 p.m. on 400 block of Ramos Avenue, Hayward, following search warrant executed by Pleasanton PD. Both charged with suspected possession for sale of heroin and methadone pills. Male also charged with misappropriating lost property and identity theftNo information provided on search warrant.
  • Theft arrest of male 8:36 p.m. on 1500 Stoneridge Mall Road.
  • Theft reported 8:01 p.m. on 6000 Johnson Avenue.
  • Warrant arrest 9:34 a.m. on 4800 Bernal Avenue.
  • Pleasanton man, 62, arrested for public intoxication 12:33 p.m. on 5500 West Las Positas Boulevard.
  • Final suspect arrested in 2012 Gold N Treasures robbery in San Ramon.
  • Suspected retail-theft ringleader arrested.
  • Vehicles towed 7:30  a.m. Foothill Road at Castlewood Drive by Alameda County Sheriff's Office. No further details available.
Wednesday, July 24
  • Residential burglary reported 8:10 a.m. along 7400 Hillview Court. Two bicycles valued at combined $3,700 stolen from garage.
  • Thefts reported: 12:27 p.m. along 8500 Clubhouse Drive; 4:42 p.m. on 1700 Santa Rita Road.
  • Theft of two catalytic converters, valued at $4,400, on 6100 Stoneridge Mall Road occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Case logged 4:53 p.m.
  • Commercial burglary reported 6:19 p.m. at AT&T store along 4700 Hopyard Road.
  • Missing-person case filed 10:05 a.m. on the 4000 block of Vineyard Avenue.
  • Warrant arrest of man, 20, 8:35 p.m. on 1700 Stoneridge Mall Road.
  • Pleasanton male, 33, arrested 1:16 a.m. on 2600 Calle Morelia for alleged DUI and driving on suspended license.
  • Livermore man arrested for alleged felony animal neglect on Murrieta Boulevard.
  • Injury accident shuts Sunol Boulevard at I-680.

  • Vandalism: 5:34 a.m. along 11900 Dublin Canyon Road; 12:15 p.m. Creekside Drive at Springdale Avenue.
  • Fraud cases filed: 12;46 p.m. along 3200 Vineyard Avenue; 6:03 p.m. on the 1000 block of Hancock Court.
  • Drug violation reported 3:14 p.m. Peters Avenue at Division Street.
Monday, July 22
  • Burglary reported 12:08 p.m. on the 4200 block of Mairmont Drive.
  • Vandalism: 3:01 a.m. on 4500 Rosewood Drive.
  • Fraud case filed 12:03 p.m. on the 2200 block of Camino Brazos.
  • Manteca man, 50, arrested 11:20 p.m. on Bernal Avenue at I-680 for alleged possession of a controlled substance and tear gas.
  • Dublin woman, 35, arrested 1:59 a.m. along 5800 Laurel Creek Drive for suspected possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
  • Theft reported 12:03 p.m. on 5000 Riverwood Drive.
  • Suspected Craigslist robbers plead no contest.
Sunday, July 21
  • Weapons violation reported 11:58 p.m. on the 4000 block of Payne Road.
  • Commercial burglary reported 4:33 p.m. at Nordstrom on Stoneridge Mall Road; $80 jeans stolen.
  • Car break-in 4:33 p.m. on 1000 Stoneridge Mall Road; $200 sunglasses taken.
  • Pleasanton man, 30 arrested for public intoxication 9:55 p.m. on 1800 Valley Avenue.
  • Male, 39, arrested for public intoxication 8:31 a.m. on Hopyard Road at West Las Positas Boulevard.
  • Vandalism: 12:06 p.m. on 5800 Parkside Drive.
  • Shoplifting reported 5:53 p.m. on 1600 Stoneridge Mall Road.
