Police Log: Vandals; Thieves; Scammers; Plus Robber-at-Large

Incidents from May 25 to June 1, with a Wednesday case that reminds all to leave NOTHING of value visible in cars. Even gym bags.

Saturday, June 1

  • Burglary reported 2:35 p.m. along 4300 Foothill Road.
  • Drunk-and-disorderly arrest of male 2:10 p.m. on 4500 Pleasanton Avenue.
  • Vehicles reported stolen 1:48 p.m. and 3:27 p.m. on the 4500 block of Pleasanton Avenue.
  • Missing-person case filed 2:25 p.m. on the 6300 block of Shorewood Court.
  • Female motorist cited for false display of vehicle registration at 1:50 a.m. on 5000 Hopyard Road.
  • Female arrested for suspected shoplifting 8:28 p.m. along 1300 Stoneridge Mall Road.
  • Car break-in reported 2:22 p.m. on 4700 block of Owens Drive. 
Friday, May 31
  • Fraud cases filed: on the 500 block of Touriga Court 9:46 p.m.; and at 12:24 p.m. along 3200 Medallion Court.
  • Missing-person case logged 9:02 a.m. on the 4900 block of Blackbird Way.
  • Bicycle thefts: 6:49 p.m. on 4300 Foothill Road; 10:06 a.m. along 5600 Owens Drive.
  • Vandalism reported 2:08 p.m. on 3200 West Las Positas Boulevard.
  • Car break-in filed 9:24 a.m. on 1500 East Gate Way. 
  • Female arrested 12:14 p.m. on 4500 Rosewood Drive for suspected shoplifting.
Thursday, May 30
  • Graffiti reported in the girls' bathroom at Pleasanton Middle School.
  • Man arrested for alleged identity theft and illegal access-card usage at 5:35 p.m. on 1600 Stoneridge Mall Road.
  • Warrant arrest of male at 4:32 p.m. on 5300 Hopyard Road.
  • Male motorist cilted on  5200 Hopyard Road at 10:33 a.m. for illegal display of vehicle registration.
  • Female arrested along 5100 Hopyard Road 4:50 p.m. for unlawful assault with a stun gun.
  • Car break-in reported 9:41 p.m. on Canyon Meadows Drive. Incident occurred between Tuesday and Wednesday. 
Wednesday, May 29
  • Armed robbery reported 2:06 p.m. at Gold Chopsticks restaurant on Santa Rita Road. Suspect being sought. Cash, $80, reported taken, according to police logs.
  • Male arrested 1:19 p.m. along 4200 First Street for alleged battery and obstruction of police officer.
  • Fraud case filed 8:19 a.m.  on the 100 block of Birch Creek Terrace.
  • Vandalism reports: 6:04 a.m. on 4700 First Street; 11:24 a.m. on 4800 Bernal Avenue.
  • Car break-ins: 2:39 p.m. and 8:27 p.m. on 1000 Stoneridge Mall Road. In the latter case, the vehicle's window was smashed between 7:55 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. with stolen items listed as a $50 purple duffel bag containing $220 athletic shoes, $200 cash, $115 of workout gear, $40 of T-shirts, along with a $50 gift card and $1,500 of skin-care products. 
  • Massage-parlor employee, a Hayward woman, 52, was arrested for  prostitution pimping/pandering charges at Natural Health Care Center at 7151 Amador Plaza Road, Dublin. Story here. The Pleasanton Police Department assisted with related arrest of a San Jose woman, 38, for suspected solicitation/engagement in prostitution.
Tuesday, May 28
  • Pleasanton man, 18, arrested 5:21 p.m. on the 3800 block of Vineyard Avenue for suspected child endangerment and resisting police.
  • Vandalism reported 8:37 a.m. along 4900 Valley Avenue.
  • Graffiti reported 8 a.m. on 3100 block of Santa Rita Road. 
Monday, May 27
  • Shoplifting reported: 1:20 a.m. on 5200 Hopyard Road; 4:48 p.m. on 1500 Stoneridge Mall Road.
  • Pleasanton female, 20, arrested for suspected DUI 7:44 p.m. along 6000 Johnson road.
Sunday, May 26
  • Hayward male arrested 5:45 p.m. on 1300 Stoneridge Mall Road for alleged methamphetamine possession and probation violations.
  • Fraud case filed on the 500 block of Cento court 10:49 a.m.
  • Assault reported 3:05 a.m. along 400 Main Street.
  • DUI arrests: female 5:11 p.m. on Vineyard Avenue and Touriga Drive; Pleasanton male, 35, 4:03 a.m. along 5500 Northway Road.
  • Vehicles reported stolen: 9:58 a.m. on 3400 Cornerstone Court; 2:30 a.m., a white 2004 GMC Sierra, on the 6800 block of Prospect Court.
  • Weekend vandalism reported at Harvest Park Middle School.
